What is Biomethane?
Biomethane derives from the process of concentration and purification of methane present in biogas, a heterogeneous mixture of renawable gas produced in the anaerobic digestion process, where methane is the major component.
Biomethane is therefore obtainable from agricultural waste and by-products, zootechincals waste, waste and by-products of food industry, organica fraction solid urban waste (FORSU).
More and more agricultural companies, agricultural cooperatives, food's industry and waste treatments companies have chosen anaerobic digestion as key to the success of the corporate circular economy, generating high economic profitability and green energy from organic waste and by-products, contributing to the drastic reduction of emissions of CO2.
